Montastruc

Old fortified castle Montastruc is a small community in the department of Lot-and-Garonne, in the canton of Monclar.
A mainly agricultural village, dairy cattle and breeding, fruits and cereals.

Montastruc and its surroundings offer history, historic buildings, tradition, gastronomy amidst a beautifull lanscape with rolling hills and sunny climate.

Cattle breeding (the famous Blonde d'Aquitaine) dairy cows and sheep breeding.

The most commonly grown cereals are wheat, corn and sweet corn, barley, sunflower and soy-beans.

In the orchards you will find prunes, many other fruits such as apples, pears, apricots, peaches, nectarines, cherries, etc., and.......the hazelnuts and walnuts.
